There are not enough words to explain how amazingly perfect our wedding was, thanks to Tracey, Peter and the family at Country Ways! Over 3 days, there were no issues as they all had everything in hand, Tracey even booked good weather for the big day! Every one of our guests complimented the cottages, bell tents, barns, gardens, and views and the food and they were astounded at the amazing hospitality they received. This really is the perfect venue for a wedding, and we feel so lucky and grateful to the Country Ways family for accommodating us. I cannot recommend the venue and the family enough as there is nowhere more beautiful and nowhere more friendly and organised. If you are thinking of holidaying, having a wedding or even just visiting the bar at Country Ways, please stop thinking about it and just do it as it’s the best decision you will ever make.

An absolutely stunning venue for our wedding recently. With so many beautiful rooms onsite for the ceremony as well as the reception, the venue had everything you could possibly need for a perfect day. All the staff and volunteers were fantastic in helping us organise every detail of the wedding and my husband and I arrived on the day with confidence that everything was in hand. They have numerous contacts and recommendations for caterers, decor etc. So it felt easy to pull the day together. We fell in love with Hawke Barn the minute we stepped foot on the grounds for our first viewing – it’s absolutely gorgeous! Kerrie was such a huge help throughout the whole process, recommending so many incredible suppliers who really helped make our wedding day perfect, while also being flexible and supportive when we wanted to bring in some of our own. One of the things we loved most was the flexibility of the venue itself – there are so many different areas to use, each with its own charm, and every single space is beautiful. And those views of the rolling hills… they still take my breath away! We couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate our wedding, thank you!

The perfect place for an intimate country wedding. We recently got married and had our wedding reception at Honey Meadow Retreat. Firstly Harriet and John are the most amazing people and from our first visit they immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. The cottage and grounds are simply beautiful. We didn’t want a traditional wedding reception and Harriet worked tirelessly to make our day really special. Harriet was also our private chef for our wedding weekend, she not only provided a hearty Devonshire breakfast before the wedding, but also provided a three course wedding breakfast (making allowances for various dietary requirements) and also made us an amazing BBQ hamper for the day after the wedding. Now to say the food was outstanding would be an understatement! The accomodation was great and very spacious for all our guests. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but honestly Harriet was fantastic, nothing was a problem – even our odd requests like playing croquet on the lawn after our wedding breakfast. The wedding planning at Honey Meadow Retreat was so easy and such an enjoyable and personal experience. My husband and I had the best day of lives and every one of guests loved everything about the wedding. We absolutely loved Honey Meadow Retreat and we will be returning to this amazing place for mini-breaks for years to come. Thank you so much for making our day so very special and one we will remember for the rest of our lives.
